Hi! I'm Etan Markus, a professor in the Psychological Sciences Department. I'm a "Behavioral Neuroscientist", interested in the brain basis of behavior. My research focuses on the process in which we turn experiences into long term memories.

We live in exciting times with new insights into how our brain works being uncovered almost daily!  I love to share my knowledge both with the undergraduates in my lab and in my classes.  My teaching & mentorship has been recognized...
