PSYC2209 Etan Markus, Learning & Memory: From Brain to Behavior
Objective: understanding how organisms collect and store knowledge regarding their environment, and the brain processes underlying this learning. We will examine learning in humans and other animals.

Required Texts/Materials:
- Gluck, Mercado & Myer (2020), Learning and Memory: From Brain to Behavior (4th ed), Worth Pub. NY
- Additional readings will be distributed in class and/or on HuskyCT.
- Response clickers (i>clicker) required
Grading: Daily quiz: correct=1, incorrect=0.5, no answer=0 points (10%) you can miss up to 5 quiz questions – for whatever reason
Two midterms and a final examination. The exams are worth (respectively) 20%, 35% and 35% of the final grade. The class lectures and assigned readings are complimentary; the exams will be based on both.
